Summer Drummer
Unlike other Alliums, Summer Drummer does not produce a whorl of flat leaves instead the plants closely resemble that of 'Leek'. Dense light purple flowers with each individual floret tipped with a creamy white edge. Flowering time is late July/August. Very useful for the back of a border and great for Bees and other insects. Height 48-60" (120-150cm). This variety has performed very well in the Wisley Allium trial.
We are planning to start shipping bulbs in late September -early October.
