Narcissus bulbs are best planted in the Autumn. narcissus bulbocodium is perfect for growing in lawns, Narcissus obvallaris grows quite happily in light shade, great for naturalizing. But if it's a perfume you are after try one of our other varieties, 'Mbaby boomer' only 20 cm tall, clusters of tiny yellow flowers, or maybe one of the 'sensations', taller with bigger flowers, but again well perfumed.
