Summer Samba has warm golden yellow flowers, like all of the Summer range they are very good for cutting, Having said that you should always pull the stems like you would pick rhubarb not cut them, a real top-class but very scarce. All Alstroemeria need good free draining soil or compost so be careful not to get them too wet in winter or they will rot. Hardy down to around minus 15oC.

During this year, we will be offering Summer Samba as:-

Garden Ready Plants in 11cm pots. Orders for these need to be placed by the end of February, after which time we will close our order books. This gives us time to grow them ready for sending out in mid May, at which time they can be planted directly outside.

Flowering plants in 3lt pots will be available from late May onwards, but are only for collecting, no mail order.

Summer Samba is not available as plugs.
