Sphaerocephalon
Sphaerocephalon is also called the drumstick allium and the Bristol Leek. The egg-shaped flower heads start green and as the flowers age, they change to a reddish-purple. For real impact, they are best planted in clumps so they can woft around in the wind above other plants. Great in the garden plus an excellent choice for cut flowers, late flowering July-August, ht 60cm 24". Bees love them.
We start shipping bulbs in late September -early October.
