Lucky Angel is a new scented double lily from Royal Van Zanten, the flowers first open a soft pink, which gets richer and richer until the flower is fully open, then it looks more of a mid pink with a hint of white at the very heart and the odd burgundy spots. Like all oriental lilies, they need a good free-draining ericaceous soil or compost. If they get waterlogged in the winter, they will drown, and the bulbs will rot.
