Narcissus bulbs are best planted in the Autumn. narcissus bulbocodium is perfect for growing in lawns, Narcissus obvallaris grows quite happily in light shade, great for naturalizing. But if it's a perfume you are after try one of our other varieties, 'baby boomer' only 20 cm tall, clusters of tiny yellow flowers, or maybe one of the 'sensations', taller with bigger flowers, but again well perfumed.

we have started potting up all our narcissus. The small-flowered ones are all now sold out, We will start on the large one in the middle of November and then tulips at the end of the month.
