It will flower, but it is normally just grown for the leaves. best grown in sun to part shade. Looks amazing when mixed with summer bedding plants or just on its own in a nice big pot in the garden. Not hardy. The roots are edible, but might not be the best of flavors. you will ned to remember to feed one a month and water well in hot summers to get nice-sized potatoes.
