Havana
Until recently Intichancha Havana was one of the few true yellow dwarf varieties around, this has now changed with the introduction of three new Inca varieties from Konst Alstroemeria. Which one is best is a question we don't know the answer to yet, currently, we would say they are all good. All dwarf alstroemerias benefit from a bit of protection in Winter as they dislike temperatures below minus 5.
For 2025 we will have jumbo plugs available from mid march to mid April and plants in 11cm pots from mid-May.
Jumbo plugs are a good way to save money for experienced gardeners who can grow them in a heated greenhouse, but they are not suitable for planting straight outside. We recommend planting them into 11cm pots upon arrival and keeping them at a minimum temperature of 12c, by around the middle of May they should be ready for planting outside.
