Most yellow-flowered Tulips tend to be quite tall-growing, 'Harvest moon' is different, rarely does it grow over 25 cm tall. Tulips of this height are superb in pots and windy gardens, as they never get blown around by either a Spring gale or heavy rain. looks containers either on its own or combined with a small Narcissus. Flowers from late March, long-lasting.
It is always a good idea to deadhead tulip and feed after flowering as this helps to make a good size bulb for the following year
