Bright yellow with a golden yellow center and white wings (the upper petals), one of the taller varieties, blends in well, when planted with Alaska and Golden Beauty, making a real touch of sunshine in the garden in late May. A bulbous Iris that will grow in any well-drained soil but not clay, here at the nursery we grow them in raised beds as we are on clay and so far they have come back every year, but we do have to water them if it is a very dry spring or they will lose their buds,  makes a perfect cut flower  

We are planning to start shipping bulbs in late September -early October.
