Captain Tricolour
Many years ago when we displayed this variety at The Chelsea Flower Show it was called 'Neopolitano' this has since been changed to 'Captain Tricolour'. Like all orientals it's an acidic lover so if you can grow Camillias and Rhododendrons in your garden it will be quite happy planted alongside them, if not a pot filled with ericaceous compost. Grows to around 1m tall, flowers mid-July onwards. bulb size 16/18.
