Barbarry Creme Caramel
To be released at the 2026 BBC Gardener's World Live show in June, at which time visitors will be able to buy plants.
We first saw Creme Caramel back in 2024. At the time, Barry only had one plant. We enquired about it in the autumn, only to be told the tuber was not good and would probably not survive winter. So, come last autumn, we were delighted to see that it had survived and that Barry now had 5 plants, so Creme Caramel was added to our wish list. 5 good tubers turned up in due time. Over the last 5 months, we have been taking cuttings to increase the stock, and we now have enough plants to be able to offer some for sale.
