Yellow is one colour that was missing from our range of tall growing alstroemeria, so when we were offered Inca Doubloon we snapped them up. Lovely pure yellow flowers with vibrant green tips to the petals. Only really suitable for growing in mixed borders because the plants tend to have quite an untidy habit. For cutting and large containers Golden Gem is a far better choice. Fully hardy in all but the very coldest areas but as with all Alstroemeria they will die if the plants get waterlogged.
