Nectaroscordum is an unusual species of allium that originates from Eastern Europe. The common name is 'Honey Lily' or 'shuttlecock allium'. Its hanging flowers are a real magnet for bees, Butterflies, and other insects. Starts flowering in late May, heights can vary between 60-100 cm, when the flowers have gone over, it looks like a shuttlecock with all the seedheads going up, which can be dried for Winter arrangements.
