Mexican Star was originally called Mexican Black, deep velvet red single flowers with a golden yellow center, it looks very much like a chocolate Cosmos, so if you like them and dahlias you will love this, not fast to flower but well worth the wait. butterflies and bees love the single flowers. long burgundy stems and mid-green leaves.  Ht 100-140cm
