As with all martagons, the bulbs can take a year or so to get established, but when they have martagons tend to be very long-lived and increase well, needs a good humus-rich alkaline soil, to do well, grows to about 1.3 meters when established and can have 30 or more flowers on a stem, which are produced in June.
