J S Dijt might not be the easiest name to say but it is a stunning purple with a golden yellow stripe at its heart, Dwarf Iris adds a touch of colour to a Garden from Late February through to mid-March, a time when not much else is flowering. They are hardy but like well-drained soil and dry in Summer, they are great garden plants, Height 10 cm. It is always best to feed the plants after flowering to make a good-sized bulb for the following year, don't cut the foliage back before it goes brown.
