Lily LeVern Friemann

  • Lily LeVern Friemann

LeVern Frieman lived in Washington State and was a pioneer in the hybridising of Lilies, this variety was named after him by B&D Lilies in 1992, at that time bulbs exchanged hands for $80 each. Since being introduced it has proved to be, very easy to grow and disease resistant, worthy of the great mans name. Like many lilies bred in the last century, nobody thought of registering the names back then. So in 2008 'LeVern Friemann' was registered as 'Miss Feya' by a Dutch nursery, why they chose to do this we don't know, in our opinion the original name is the correct name. Being a typical 'Orienpet' Le Vern Friemann can take a while to get established, but once the bulbs are, they will get better every year. Flowers from around the beginning of August. Supplied as size 20 cm + bulbs.
