' Lisa Blue', a selection from Allium senescens montanum, named because of it's stunning grey/blue foliage, which emerges in early Spring and stays until well after the flowers have finished, worth growing just for the leaves, but also produces flowering stems from late July onwards. These stems grow about 45 cm tall and the flower heads are about 5 cm in diameter, packed with tiny flowers, which bees and butterflies find very attractive. Likes a good quality, free draining soil, easy to grow and forms clumps very quickly.
