Apricona is a soft apricot pink, which blends beautifully with other pastel colours or softens a red-orange border. We get many requests from customers looking for Tulips to cut, Apricona is a Triumph tulip which makes it one of the best for cutting. We grow it by the thousand. Planted in a cold greenhouse the first flowers open in early March, outside they will be about 3 weeks later. Outside, it flowers in April, Grows to around 40 cm tall. Suitable for borders and containers. It is always a good idea to deadhead and feed after flowering, as this helps to make a good size bulb for the following year.
