Apeldoorn is back by popular request, a cherry red Darwin tulip, seldom bothered by cold winds or the changeable weather that we can have in spring,  planted in a nice free draining, sunny site it will come back up year after year. good cut flowers but if you do cut them they will not flower well the following year. tall sturdy stems 50+cm tall. flowers April-may depending on how warm the spring is. Suitable for borders and containers.
