Aitara Rufus, red outer petals with a darker heart. In a very sunny summer, they can go a more raspberry red.  introduced in 2007 by Tapley, Australia. Ht 100-120cm. very hard to find in the UK.

Young dahlia plants are shipped in late April/Early May, when you receive them they will need growing on inside until the end of May at which time they can be planted outside.
