Stunning new hybrid with 'Tango type' flowers, bred by Arie Peterse when He was working for 'Marklily' in Holland. The black markings are no as intense as those in 'Lion Heart' but the stems are stronger and the flowers are more spaced. Grows about 90 cms tall in the first season, will most probably get taller when established. Starts flowering from about mid June onwards. Sure to be a big hit in 2013. Supplied as size 14 cm plus bulbs.

From the breeding programme of 'Vletter den Haan' in Holland. Large, sweetly scented, pure white flowers, that can measure over 20 Cm's in diameter, often available as cut flowers in high class flower shops. Newly planted bulbs produce stems about 1 metre tall, when established they can grow up to 1.5 metres. Stronger growing and earlier flowering than the standard white Oriental 'Casa Blanca', flowers from mid July onwards. Bulb Size 18 cm + .

Named after the 'Great Red Serpent' that once represented the Welsh God 'Dewi', an image of which can now be seen as 'The Great Welsh Red Dragon' on the National flag of 'Wales'.

When we first saw this variety in a seedling bed it was quite simply the best, both in plant habit and colour. It's very strong, robust stems, are topped with perfectly formed bright red flowers. (the true colour of which is very hard to capture in a photo). Extremely easy to grow and the bulbs quickly form clumps, newly planted bulbs tend to grow about 70 Cm's tall, when established they can grow get too about 1 metre, never needs any support, flowers late June onwards. bulb size 16 cm +.

Visitors to 'The Cardiff Flower Show' in 2013 will be able to see this variety for the first time.

Forza Red is one of those varieties that never shows it's true beauty in a picture, in real life the flowers glow, but in a picture they always look dull. Sure to be in great demand at shows, where visitors will be able to see its true beauty. 'Tolima' is from a new range of Oriental Trumpets hybrids that have been created by 'Vletter Den Haan' in Holland. It's, widely spaced pure pink flowers are nicely perfumed and about 18 Cm's in diameter. Tall strong stems that grow about 1.3 metres tall, from newly planted bulbs, when established we expect them to grow over 1.7 metres. Bulb size 18 cm +.

The newest dark red Oriental from Vletter Den Haan. Probably the best way to describe 'Coleburn' is as an improved 'Montezuma', same deep red scented flowers but with stronger stems. This year we are offering only a few new pink orientals because we feel that the varieties we already offer are at least equal, if not better than many of the new ones, 'Homerus' is one of the few exceptions. To put it quite simply 'Methone' is the darkest red L.A. hybrid we have ever seen, previously this colour was only ever seen in Asiatics. Very large lightly scented flowers that can be almost black in the garden. Please note the silver foil in the pictures is used to stop the flowers being pollinated by insects.

As a rule yellow O.T. hybrids tend to grow very tall 'Telesto' we expect will be no exception.
