A so called 'Orienpet' originally from the USA, medium sized, downwards facing, pale pink flowers, about 18 Cm's in diameter, unlike standard O.T. hybrids 'Orienpets' tend to take a year or so to really get going, it is quite normal for them to produce quite weak stems in the first season, with only a few flowers, but when they get established they get much better, often reaching heights over 1.5 metres and they can have 20 or more flowers on a stem, flowers from early August onwards. Bulb size 20 cm +.

Produces massive flowers, up to 35 Cm's in diameter, bigger than any other yellow variety, always a hit at shows and not just because of the name !, very strong stems that normally get to about 1 metre tall, in the first season and up too about 1.5 metres when established, despite the size of it's flowers this variety seldom, if ever needs support, flowers mid to late July. bulb size 20 + .

Regarded by some as the first 'OT' hybrid, not exactly correct, because it is the result of crossing L.henryi with L.speciosum, lightly perfumed dark purple flowers about 14 Cm's in diameter, normally grows to about 1 metre tall in the first season, but can easily get to 2 metres when established, often needs some support, not as showy as modern hybrids but well growing, flowers early August onwards. Huge new OOT hybrid from the same breeder as Forbidden, same big highly scented flowers up to 25 Cm's in diameter, huge thick stems that grow about 1.2 metres tall, in the first season and up to 2 metres when established, will need little if any support, a real talking point when grown either in a big container or the back of a border, not fussy about the soil PH, just needs free drainage, flowers late July onwards. Named after a Scottish whisky by Arie Vletter. As with all of the new Oriental x Trumpet hybrids from Vletter Den Haan 'Bowmore' is very vigorous with well formed bright pink flowers, they have a nice perfume and are about 18 Cm's in diameter. Tall strong stems that grow about 1.3 metres tall, from newly planted bulbs, when established we expect them to grow over 1.7 metres. Bulb size 16 cm +.

The best new Gold flowered hybrid, replaces 'Saltarello' in our assortment, big pure golden/orange flowers which are about 25 Cm's in diameter, lovely perfume, in 2011, our newly planted bulbs have produced plants about 1 metre tall, with an average of 5 flowers, we are told by Arie Vletter (the breeder), that when this variety get established it produces huge 2 metre plus stems, we are sure this is correct and it will prove to be a brilliant variety, flowers late July onwards. Huge deep reddish pink flowers scented flowers, about 20 Cm's in diameter. Newly planted bulbs produce very strong stems about 1.3 metres tall, when the bulbs are established we expect them to be over 2, maybe even taller. This is one for the back of a border or large container, flowers mid July onwards. Bulb size 16 cm +.
