A rare Heritage variety bred in the mid 1900's. Very well marked salmon/pink flowers, which are about 6 Cm's in diameter and are beautifully set off by the deep green leaves, as with all martagons the bulbs can take a year or so to get established, but when they have martagons tend too be very long lived and increase well, needs a good humus rich alkaline soil, to do well, grows to about 1.2 metres when established and can have 20 or more flowers on a stem, which are produced from about mid June onwards.

Soft pink buds that open to orange / yellow flowers, suffused with pink and chocolate spots, they are about 6 Cm's in diameter.
