This year Richard went to Canada in late August, to harvest bulbs, he arrived back in the U.K. with them on the 2nd of September, included in the consignment were several new varieties, most of which 'Sold out' very quickly. Next year he is planning a similar trip, we expect more new varieties to be available in September 2014. This section contains a range of hybrids derived from L martagon. They grow well in wide range of soils from slightly acidic to alkaline, providing it is of good quality and well drained, like all Lilies they hate being water logged. A lot of customers grow them in light woodland, but they can also be grown in full Sun. All are hardy and scented, Bees and Butterflies love them. Further details can be found by selecting a variety.
