Originally created by Arie Peterse, but now owned by one grower in Holland, big yellow flowers with a pretty apricot blush, about 20 Cm's in diameter, newly planted bulbs produce very strong stems about 1.5 metres tall, when the bulbs are established we expect they grow to over 2 metres, this is one for the back of a border or large container, flowers mid July onwards. Bulb size 18 cm +.

One of our exclusive varieties. The registered name is 'Popstar' with a trade designate of 'Lily Allen'. A extremely vigorous Tetraploid (4n), produces the most stunning orange and black flowers, each of which are about 15 Cm's in diameter, very strong stems that get to about 75 Cm's tall, from newly planted bulbs and up to 1.3 metres when established, flowers late June onwards. Bulb size 14 cm +.

Selected from a range of trial varieties that G.A.Verdegaal sent us in 2011, when this one flowered we thought it was so unique that we including in our display at 'The Hampton Court Flower Show', where it was much admired by visitors. It's pollen free flowers (which are a real mixture of crushed 'Strawberries and Custard') are produced on very strong stems that only grow about 35 Cm's tall, will make a super plant for patio pots and window boxes, or of course in the front of a border, flowers early June onwards. Supplied as size 12 cm + bulbs.
