Produces massive flowers, up to 35 Cm's in diameter, bigger than any other yellow variety, always a hit at shows and not just because of the name !, very strong stems that normally get to about 1 metre tall, in the first season and up too about 1.5 metres when established, despite the size of it's flowers this variety seldom, if ever needs support, flowers mid to late July. bulb size 20 + .

Common name 'Japanese Golden Ray Lily', parent to many of the modern day 'Oriental' hybrids, huge flowers up to 25 Cm's in diameter, another Lily that tends to take a year or two before it really gets going, newly planted bulbs tend to produce short stems under 1 metre tall with only a few flowers, but when the bulbs are established they get huge, 2 metres is not unusual with 10 plus flowers, needs an acidic soil, flowers mid July onwards. One of the few L.lankongense hybrids that we offer, delicately perfumed, raspberry pink, Turk's Cap flowers, each of which are only about 7 Cm's in diameter. Strong thin stems that tend to only grow to about 45 Cm's tall in the first season, when established they can get to over 1 metre. Flowers Early June onwards. Bulb size 14 cm + .

A Tetraploid (4n)  Longiflorum x Oriental, stunning, sweetly scented, dark pink, trumpet shaped flowers about 25 Cm's in diameter, produces huge, super strong stems that grow to about 1 metre in the first season, when the bulbs are established they can grow to 3 metres tall with 20 flowers, seldom if ever needs any support, flowers from about the middle of July until August. bulb size 16 cm +.

Sister variety too Lion Heart, same stunning black hearted flowers but this time the tips are orange, flower size about 15 Cm's in diameter, tall thin stems that get to about 1 metre in the first season, best when given some support, flowers mid June to July. Bulb size 14 cm + Crop failure !

A Longiflorum x Oriental, stunning, sweetly scented, deep pink, trumpet shaped flowers about 20 Cm's in diameter, produces very strong stems that grow to about 1 metre in the first season, when the bulbs are established we expect it will grow much taller, probably up to 2 metres tall, flowers from about the middle of July until August. bulb size 18 cm +.

The best new Gold flowered hybrid, replaces 'Saltarello' in our assortment, big pure golden/orange flowers which are about 25 Cm's in diameter, lovely perfume, in 2011, our newly planted bulbs have produced plants about 1 metre tall, with an average of 5 flowers, we are told by Arie Vletter (the breeder), that when this variety get established it produces huge 2 metre plus stems, we are sure this is correct and it will prove to be a brilliant variety, flowers late July onwards. Our 'Flagship' variety, resembles its L.nepalense parent in colour, but not in habit, big flower about 25 Cm's in diameter, very strong stems that grow to about 1 metre tall from newly planted bulbs and over 1.5 metres when established, hardy and much easier to grow than its parent, flowers mid July onwards, Bulb size 14 cm + .

Species Lilium that closely resembles L. Pumilum, produces lots of very small, deep orange Turks Cap flowers, each of which are about 3 Cm's in diameter, nice perfume but a bit variable in growth, some bulbs can easily produce stems up to 80 Cm's tall, while others will only get to about half this size, short lived but can flower in two years from seed, flowers late May to early June. bulb size 12 cm +.

Pure white form of L.regale,  easy to grow species Lily from China, prefers a good Alkaline soil, heights tend to vary considerably, some bulbs will produce huge stems, up to 1.5 metres tall, while others will only grow to about 1 metre, equally one stem may be topped with just a hand full of flowers and another will produce over 20, a super reliable species, flowers from mid May to early June. One of the oldest Oriental hybrid that is still in commercial production, ever year millions of bulbs are grown for cut flowers, classic pure white flowers about 16 Cm's in diameter, newly planted bulbs grow about 90 Cm's tall, in the first season, when established they can produce stems to over 1.8 metres, reasonable strong stems that often need support, flowers early August onwards. It's not often you find a Dwarf double variety but here is one, small perfectly formed flowers about 12 Cm's in diameter, often called 'pollen free', but with us at least the flowers sometimes produce pollen, only grows about 35 Cm's tall, superb for pots and window boxes, flowers early June onwards. Regarded by many as one of the most beautiful off all species, delicate lantern shaped flowers about 6 Cm's in diameter, it's tall elegant stems grow about 1 metre tall and emerge from a scaly rhizome, these are very brittle and need careful handling, to do well the rhizomes need planting in a well drained acidic soil, they must never dry out but equally must not get waterlogged, a real challenge to grow, flowers from late June onwards, rhizome size 12 cm +.

A variety with two names, in 2009 it was called 'Purple Fountain', now it has been renamed 'Hotline', (by the breeder, not us !), produces lots of medium sized flowers which are about 16 Cm's in diameter, nice strong stems which grow to about 90 Cm's from newly planted bulbs and about 1.2 metres when established, one real benefit of this variety is that the purple edge is stable in hot weather, unlike the flowers of the old variety 'Brasillia', which can turn pure pink, flowers late July onwards. A very tall elegant variety, which has known under this name for years, but is now sometimes called 'Red Flavour', produces big stems of up to 20, or more, perfectly formed, Turks cap flowers, each of which are about 10 Cm's in diameter, a very tall grower that often gets too about 1.3 meters in the first season and can get up to 2 meters when established, needs some sort of support, flowers late June onwards. Bulb size 16 cm + .

One of our standard range of L.A. hybrids, big pure white flowers with a fine black edge to the petals, each flower is about 16 Cm's in diameter, which are very lightly perfumed, very strong stems that get about 90 Cm's tall in the first season and over 1 metre when established, flowers late June to early July. A so called 'Orienpet' originally from the USA, medium sized, downwards facing flowers, about 18 Cm's in diameter, unlike standard O.T. hybrids 'Orienpets' tend to take a year or so to really get going, it is quite normal for them to produce quite weak stems in the first season, with only a few flowers, but when they get established they get much better, often reaching heights over 1.5 metres and they can have 20 or more flowers on a stem, flowers from early August onwards.
